Only 8% of Americans use Twitter

The Pew Research Center's Internet & American Life Project completed a study in Nov. 2010 about who uses Twitter. With the zeal that every entity from US Senators to mass media companies promote their presence on Twitter, one may get the impression that everybody is using it. You may be surprise by some of the findings from this study. Here are some highlights:

LinkedIn, Facebook and MySpace for CEO's?

I use LinkedIn and I notice many of you are members as well. (Leblanc, always the overachiever has over 200 connections whereas our favorite rock star Chuck has one connection. Go figure. David, a late bloomer, has a respectable 61.)

I am going to form a "Group" on LinkedIn called The CEO Roundtable so if you are a member, join this group.
