How Corporations Should Prioritize Social Business Budgets

In the last several breakfast meetings the conversation has eventually turned to the topic of social media. I found this presentation from research-based advisory firm Altimeter Group, on Mashable, and thought many may find it interesting as we try to understand how to incorporate this new marketing process into our overall strategy.

Thank you, Jonathan
There is some good information in here for all of us - regardless of the maturity of our businesses. One important point that stood out to me focused on ROI tools and how social media gets measured for business performance. Sounds like this is still evolving - even for the big companies. Thanks again for sending this to us, Jonathan.

How Corporations Should Prioritize Social Business Budgets
Unfortunately the best tools to determine ROI are quite costly, so only businesses with considerablly large budgets can afford them. I expect that within a year or so, the cost of these tools will be in reach of almost eveyone. Until then one most be careful not to convince themselves that things are working to their advantage simply because they're partiicipating in the activity.
